Last week was the beginning of dance camp for children ages six to 10. In this camp, students received an introduction to ballet, jazz, and acrobatics from MVA’s Dance Conservatory Instructor, Mrs. Jessie Birt Paz.
On Friday, students performed in a recital to showcase their hard work and newfound skills. “It was impressive what they put together in four days!” said Mrs. Natalya Yakovleva, mother of second-grader Alisa Berndt.
The camp will have two more sessions, one this week and one next week. Parents are eager to see the growth their children will continue to experience in the coming weeks.
