Season’s Greetings from MVA’s Fine Arts show Lessons & Carols

Once again, the annual Lessons and Carols Fine Arts production has greeted us all with the most wonderful music from our students and musical guests Ben Gulley and Callie Day. With upper and middle school students practicing since October, they sang their hearts out Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.

This year, a new program for the production was implemented, making the team re-think exciting new music. In addition to a new program, brand new musical guests joined the production.

“We wanted to not use the full orchestra, and that made us rethink the music that we were doing,” explained Mr. Dean Bell, Director of Arts. “We all agreed that this was the perfect time for a change”, said Mr. Bell.

With the COVID-19 shut down last year, this was their time to shine on stage again. Lessons and Carols made a mark on the audience and left them wanting more. Congratulations to all the students and faculty involved in making this extraordinary production.
