Save the Date for Night for the Cure

For this year’s Night for the Cure event, amidst COVID-19, our enduring vision remains strong. We continue to work and plan to bring this vision of strength and determination forward. Especially throughout this year, the words “enduring vision” have never been more applicable. As a society, we managed to shift our entire way of life to accommodate this peculiar time, putting aside comfort and convenience, and striving to infuse a sense of care, compassion and selflessness into everyday life.

This is what we’re all about at NFC. We wish to look back at 2020 in a positive way and focus on our development as a people and a community. We honor medical workers and first responders who put their lives on the line for our wellbeing. We celebrate those with severe illnesses who have triumphed over the cards they were dealt. We wish to commemorate those who have fallen victim to the effects of COVID-19.

In spite of all this, we remain united for a common goal: to end cancer and put a stop to suffering. We stand together for a cause we believe and trust in. Over this past year, as difficult as it has been, we endured. This COVID-19 battle has stretched far beyond what we are used to or expected. It has become a battle of humanity and a test of our capabilities. This year’s event proves that we have won this battle. However, the war against cancer is far from over. This is why we need to come together, and why we greatly appreciate everyone contributing to this noble cause, continued support of local organizations dedicated to cancer research and helping those fighting cancer.

Thank you for your support, and together, we will triumph in every battle that comes our way.
