The MVA Senior Seminars grew from a desire to build community within each senior class while conveying important senior year information. This year, seniors have heard from Mr. Jon Hopman, our Head of School, and we have had on-campus MVA guest speakers from College Guidance and the Alumni Association. Each seminar is followed by a seniors-only catered lunch to promote fellowship amongst the members of the Class of 2023.
At today’s seminar, students were informed of important dates coming up, and they heard from the College Counseling office regarding the college admissions process. Then, they voted on senior superlatives and watched a Class of ’22 video produced by the Alumni Association.
After the seminar, seniors gathered in the Student Center for a catered lunch. They even had the opportunity to sign the Legacy Banner and leave an inspiring note for the underclassmen of MVA. The Legacy Banner will hang in the Student Center and serve as a piece of inspiration for years to come.
