Montverde Academy Celebrates Boys' and Girls' Basketball Championships with Parade

Montverde Academy students, faculty, and staff celebrated the 2022 GEICO High School Nationals championship basketball teams on Monday with a parade through campus. Both the boys’ and girls’ 2021-22 basketball teams hopped on several pick-up trucks with their championship trophies as they made a loop around the campus. The MVA family cheered them on throwing candy and beads at them.

For the first time in history, both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams won the 2022 GEICO High School Nationals on Saturday morning.
