Lily Downs, a rising senior at Montverde Academy, competed at The Applause Awards at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, representing MVA and the Theatre Conservatory. She performed the song “Get Out/Stay Out” from the show “9 to 5: The Musical,” competing against 32 actors and actresses from Central Florida for a chance to win a Jimmy Award and represent at the competition in NYC, and she won the Jimmy Awards Nominee Runner-Up! Congratulations to Lily and the other Theatre Conservatory students who represented Montverde Academy proudly.
