It’s a Wrap for the MVA Graduating Class of 2022
Montverde Academy is proud to have graduated 230 students during our 109th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 14, 2022. These Eagles represented over 38 countries and were accepted to top-ranked colleges like Boston University, Brandeis University, Cornell University, Duke University, Emory University, Georgetown University, Georgia Institute of Technology, New York University, Purdue University, University of California, Berkeley, University of California, Davis, University of California, San Diego, University of California, Santa Barbara, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Virginia, Wake Forest University, and were offered over 14 million dollars in academic scholarships.
The Class of 2022 had three National Merit finalists, 33 Distinguished Scholars, and 40 Cum Laude Society inductees including the Valedictorian and the Salutatorian. Valedictorian Krishna Patel and Salutatorian Pavlos Tentomas both gave wonderful addresses at Commencement, recognizing their fellow graduates for their incredible accomplishments.
“What I truly admire about our senior class is their sheer friendliness and respect. Even though our class size is extremely large, I can effectively say that I have held meaningful conversations with a vast majority of my peers,” said Pavlos. “Whether it’s a simple “good morning” or a deeper discussion, there are always smiles on the faces I greet. It is a wonderful feeling to be around such positive, wholehearted people throughout most of your day.”
