The last cultural event for the year was the Upper School Island Bash. The weather was beautiful for this pool and beach court party.
Several student volunteers, faculty, and dining hall staff assisted with the set-up and clean-up. The decorations were colorful, the music festive, and the food featured a taste of the Caribbean from Caribbean Sunshine Bakery located in Winter Garden.
The MVA pool and the warm sand of the beach courts were the perfect location to host a party recognizing some of the Caribbean Islands represented by our students and staff.
“The food was really good, and the music was diverse. We had a lot of fun in the pool playing volleyball and dancing,” said Vanessa Manoil, Class of ’23.
