By Mrs. Joslyn Roberts-Judy, Middle School Life Science Teacher
Middle School students use hands-on laboratory testing to gain insights into the importance of water. Middle School Life Science teacher, Mrs. Roberts-Judy, developed resources while attending The Teacher Institute for Watershed Science and Conservation, sponsored by Poland Spring® at The Ecology School.
These resources focus on the importance of the properties of water and water quality. Earlier this term, members of the Upper School STEM SAC worked with UF/IFAS Department of Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Science (SWES) to gain insight into the application of soil and water science.
At the Academy, our science department unites researchers, educators, and students, fostering a deep understanding of water’s ecological roles. Water connects us all, and learning about water is vital for students in our science curriculum. 🌊💧 #WaterStewards
