Academy Athletic Trainer

The Academy Athletic Trainer operates within the domains of athletic training to tend to the health & wellness of Upper School and Academy program student-athletes. Standard hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with shared Saturday game coverage responsibilities. This individual should have reasonable flexibility with their work schedule and communicate beyond standard hours to address student wellness concerns. This position requires a passion for athletic training, a growth mindset, critical thinking skills, situational awareness, and keen decision-making. They should welcome the ability to work both autonomously and collectively with other staff Athletic Trainers to uphold our mission statement.

Center for Basketball Development Coach

The Center for Basketball Development Coach is responsible for coaching, character development, and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in basketball.

This position reports to the CBD Director. This is a professional coaching position and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of Montverde Academy. This position is responsible for all aspects of training and coaching student-athletes in grades 6 – 12.

This is a 10-month position for the 2024-2025 school year.

Montverde Academy’s Athletic Department is looking for a Full-time Tennis Coach. We are looking to employ an energetic and passionate Full-time Tennis Coach to provide tennis lessons to students of varying ages and skill sets. Lower School Substitute Teacher

The Lower School Substitute Teacher will initially fulfill long-term substitute needs with a possible teaching position in the 2025-2026 school year. They will facilitate the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress.

Donor Relations Coordinator

The Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for managing the school’s donor database system, ensuring data accuracy, and leveraging it to support fundraising efforts. Additionally, you will play a vital role in managing and cultivating relationships with Alumni, while also researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure external funding for school programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong database management skills, excellent research and writing abilities, and a passion for education and philanthropy.

Payroll and Benefits Specialist

The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will perform and lead all activities necessary to process payroll each cycle including maintaining related records and tax reports and ensuring compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist assumes duties and responsibilities as directed and supervised by the HRM and Business Office Manager/Comptroller. Bus Driver

Montverde Academy is seeking a Bus Driver. Requirements of the position include driving school bus routes to pick up and drop off students in the morning and afternoons based on a route schedule, keeping the inside and outside of assigned vehicles clean and inspected, and making sure the vehicle fluids and fuel are topped off. This position will directly report to the Transportation Coordinator.

Grounds Maintenance

The Grounds Maintenance position is responsible for baseball and softball field setup. General maintenance on field grounds including mowing, weed-eating, weed control, pest control, irrigation, and maintaining proper turf height level. Mechanic, Full-time

Montverde Academy is looking for a full-time Mechanic. Responsible, experienced, reliable, and hard-working. CDL a plus. Ability to lift 60 lbs. required. Experience in repairing and maintaining small engines (lawn equipment and golf carts), Vehicle maintenance (vans, mid and large buses). Hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Competitive pay and benefits.
