MVA students were eager to share a piece of their culture with their classmates during Diversity Week. On Wednesday, students were encouraged to wear a national team jersey or T-shirt representative of a popular sport from their country, and on Thursday, they were encouraged to wear heritage, ethnic, or cultural attire worn for special holidays, celebrations, or traditional ceremonies in their country.
They look forward to bringing that enthusiasm with them to Diversity Fest tonight as MVA families gather to share not only their food, music, fashion, and dancing that make their cultures unique, but also their laughter, camaraderie, warmth, love, and generosity that bring them together.
