Senior Class Speeches
Senior Speeches are an integral part of the Montverde Academy tradition, with each Senior addressing their classmates, Upper School students, faculty, staff, family, and friends during assembly. Speeches are recorded and are available online.
Each senior delivers a speech that is based upon a student’s personal experience that affected their lives. Seniors are paired with a faculty advisor as they write, rehearse and present their speech to the Upper School community. The speech must meet a minimum time requirement and cannot exceed the allotted time. Seniors are graded on this presentation and it is part of their graduation requirement.
