Welcome to 2021!

Happy New Year and Welcome Back

We hope everyone had a wonderful and rejuvenating break! As we head into 2021 with optimism, the Academy followed a careful assessment and considered the additional risks associated with holiday travel, before deciding to shift to distance learning for the first week of classes with students returning to in person learning on Monday, January 11.

The decision was not made without understanding the complications this presents for families, but in assessing the situation, the risks for a potential outbreak that could yield longer term and wider spread quarantines outweigh the unfortunate and real concerns with managing the shift to distance learning. We hope families understand that it is being done within the spirit and intent of mitigating potentially greater disruptive issues and to preserve the health and safety of the school community.

We deeply appreciate the flexibility and cooperation of our families, and look forward to seeing everyone next week!
