The Theatre Conservatory’s production of “Clybourne Park,” a Pulitzer Prize winning satire about the politics of race, earned a perfect score from adjudicators. In addition, the show was selected to be presented at the Florida Thespian State Conference. This is the third consecutive time an MVA show has been selected to present on the Mainstage!
Judges’ comments included: “I was highly impressed by this production on all levels. I’ve seen a superb professional production of this play at a reputable repertory theatre, and this was remarkably on par with every aspect of that production. Again, BRAVO! I truly madly deeply appreciated your work.”
“One of the best mainstage submissions I have seen (this is my third year on the screening committee)! Thank you for letting me adjudicate your production. I truly love this script, and I am so glad at this time in our history, our young people are being introduced to it!”
Congratulations to everyone involved!
