27 seventh-grade students were inducted into Duke TIP (Duke University Talent Identification Program) on Thursday, October 13. The MVA family is extremely proud of these students as each of them scored in the 95th percentile on the ERB Standardized test last spring. Duke University uses the program to seek out academically gifted and talented youth and provide them with opportunities to recognize and maximize their academic potential. In addition to the recognition and support provided by Duke, seventh graders are able to take high school entrance exams, such as the SAT or ACT, alongside high school students. At Montverde Academy, we foster these young achievers with classes to prepare them for these exams as well as additional academic resources.
Congrats to the new Duke TIP seventh-grade students!
