Congratulations to Montverde Academy seniors Andrea Rodriquez and Nathalia Da Silva who’ve both been invited to train and participate with their respective U20 National teams! Montverde Academy senior Nathalia Da Silva was invited to join the Brazilian U-20 National Team. Da Silva, possibly one of the top players in the country for high school girls soccer, is currently participating in a training camp with the Brazilian team. Last season as a Lady Eagle Girls’ Varsity Soccer player, she scored 34 goals and added 14 assists. “I’m extremely proud of Nathalia and excited for the opportunity she deserves. This is her 3rd year at the academy and I feel she has grown tremendously as a player, we wish her the best of luck in the camp,” said MVA Lady Eagles Varsity Head Coach Robbie Aristodemo.
Similarly, Andrea Rodriquez, another senior Lady Eagles Girls’ Varsity Soccer player, has also been invited to participate on the U20 National Team Camp for Mexico April 10-17th. Andrea has committed to Northwestern State and has been an integral part of the Lady Eagles Soccer success over the past two years. “Another great opportunity for one of our players – to be noticed by the national team is a great honor and we hope Andrea can take full advantage of what lies ahead, we are super proud of both players,” added Coach Aristodemo.
