During a MVA Middle School  Assembly last month held inside the Sandra O. Stephens Fine Arts Center, Mrs. Betty Johnson and Mrs. Marie Howd, of the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation, were presented a check for over $800 in contributions raised by Middle School Builders Club on behalf of their observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month philanthropy efforts.  According the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation mission statement, the organization assists “…all affected families in the greater Clermont community to have access to healthcare support and the opportunity for a meaningful and enjoyable family life experience. The mission of the Foundation is to create a less stressful and more purposeful day-to-day life and family experience for area patients, by providing limited financial aid and support focused on reducing the day to day stresses that Cancer has on patients, their families and caregivers.” *Main Frame photo by Cody DeJarnett
