It’s not too late to register for volleyball camp at Montverde Academy!  Central Florida regional Boys and girls can develop their volleyball skills – passing, setting, serving, attacking and blocking – while working directly with Mrs. Rachel Adams, Montverde Academy’s girls volleyball coach, from July 6-9th.

Session I  (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) is for beginner boys and girls, ages 7-13.  Campers receive a free T-shirt, and the price is $120 per camper/$40 off each additional sibling.  Session II  (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) is a skills camp for girls only. A free t-shirt is provided, and session two’s rate is also $120 per camper/$40 off each additional sibling.  Register online for MVA’s Volleyball Camp, please visit HERE.

Lady Eagles Head Coach Rachel Adams recently told Montverde.org, “We have a fun and exciting four day camp scheduled with a morning session from 8-3 for beginners and an evening sessions form 6-9pm for advanced athletes. We are going to focus on basic ball control and skill development as well as advanced fined tuning of skills developed. Athletes will have a chance to do some volleyball goal setting and develop a plan of action for reaching their goals.  We are looking forward to teaching young players to develop an early love of the game of volleyball.”

Under first-year Head Coach Mrs. Rachel Adams, and 3rd year Assistant Coach Mr. Tom Narducci, the Lady Eagles Varsity Volleyball team’s record (after making it to their district semi-finals) was an impressive 20-5.  Also notable, was that MVA defeated Atlantic High School in the quarterfinals (the first time in school history for a volleyball team to win a match in a district tournament) and took a set from Bishop Moore Catholic High School (in the semis-loss) for the first time in Montverde Academy girls volleyball school history.
