Montverde Academy’s National Honor Society has selected its members for the forthcoming 2015-2016 school year. Each spring, MVA’s high-school NHS chapter accepts applications for membership from sophomore, junior, and senior students who have been in attendance at the Academy for at least one semester, and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout their high school career.
After submissions are received, Montverde Academy Faculty Council comprised of MVA department heads then review and vote on each of the applicants to determine which students best represent the four core values of the National Honor Society: Scholarship, Service, Character, and Leadership. Applicants who apply for MVA’s NHS (and are selected) must have demonstrated academic accomplishment, involvement in Academy clubs, and held leadership positions with both MVA and local community.
